• Role & Company / Project Overview McLaren Resourcing is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator / Bid Lead to join a growing engineering and building services business. You will lead high-value MEP tenders from initial enquiry through to final submission, preparing competitive cost estimates, managing subcontractor quotations, identifying commercial risks, and developing winning bid strategies. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Lead high-value MEP bids and tender submissions from initial enquiry through to final submission. - Prepare competitive cost estimates and detailed cost plans. - Manage subcontractor quotations and liaise with suppliers. - Identify commercial risks and develop winning bid strategies. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Proven electrical estimating experience within MEP, building services, rail, infrastructure, or commercial projects. - Demonstrated experience leading tender submissions and preparing comprehensive cost plans. - In-depth knowledge of RMM/NRM measurement methodologies. - Hands-on experience with Amtech, Countfire, and Microsoft Office. - Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Office-based: Barbican, London (5 days per week preferred). - Permanent PAYE position. - Interviews taking place ASAP. • Compensation & Benefits - Salary: £90,000 (dependent on experience / DOE). - Benefits include Pension, health insurance, life assurance, and competitive annual leave. • Application Instructions - Send your CV and confirm your availability to work five days per week in the Barbican office.
