### Role & Company / Project Overview Hire Vista is urgently hiring for a YouTube Monetization Specialist & Video Editor. We are looking for a YouTube editor who understands what makes a channel earn, not just how to cut a good video. The objective is getting channels approved for the YouTube Partner Program (YPP), keeping them monetized, and improving revenue per video. ### Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Video Editing: - Edit long-form videos and Shorts made for YouTube audiences, with strong hooks and good pacing. - Add motion graphics, captions, sound design, colour correction, and music. - Make thumbnails that raise click-through rate and test different versions. - Deliver on schedule, in a consistent style and to a high standard. • Channel Optimization: - Write titles, descriptions, tags, and chapters using keyword research and YouTube SEO. - Use YouTube Analytics to improve audience retention and growth. - Keep the content calendar and upload schedule organised. • YouTube Monetization: - Prepare channels for YPP approval and track progress against eligibility requirements (subscribers, watch hours, Shorts views). - Set up and manage monetization in YouTube Studio and link AdSense. - Keep every video within YouTube’s monetization policies, including advertiser-friendly content, copyright, reused content, and community guidelines. - Prevent and handle limited ads, demonetization, copyright claims, and strikes, including filing appeals when needed. - Track revenue metrics such as RPM, CPM, watch time, average view duration, and click-through rate, and report on them regularly. - Work out which topics, formats, and video lengths earn the most, and recommend what to make next. - Use mid-roll ad placement, Shorts and other revenue features (e.g. memberships, where eligible). ### Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • 2 to 3 years of experience editing videos for YouTube. • A portfolio showing your YouTube edits (long-form and Shorts). • Hands-on experience with YouTube Studio, YPP requirements, and AdSense. • Solid knowledge of YouTube monetization and copyright policies. • Strong skills in Adobe Premiere Pro (or DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut Pro) and After Effects. • Proficiency in Photoshop or Canva for thumbnails. • Good communication, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines. ### Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Job Type: Full-time / Onsite. • Location: On-site, Johar Town, Phase 1, Lahore, Pakistan. ### Compensation & Benefits • Market-competitive salary. • Provident Fund. • Health Insurance. • Quarterly lunch/team dinner. • TADA for unfavorable circumstances and much more. ### Application Instructions • Share your CV with the job title "YouTube Monetization & Video Editor".
