Role & Company / Project Overview: We are urgently hiring an Extrusion Technician (Electrical) in the manufacturing industry in Lagos, Nigeria. We are seeking a technically skilled professional with robust industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting experience to support efficient production, minimise downtime, and improve equipment reliability. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Diagnose and repair electrical faults affecting production machinery and auxiliary equipment • Support the setup, calibration, and efficient operation of extrusion machinery • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to maximise equipment uptime • Collaborate with production teams to minimise disruptions during maintenance activities • Participate in root cause analysis and implement solutions to recurring equipment problems • Support planned preventive maintenance schedules and maintenance work orders • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals • Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment reports, and spare-parts documentation • Identify potential safety hazards and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards • Support continuous improvement initiatives and mentor apprentices or less experienced technicians Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • HND, OND, or Trade Test Certification in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field • Minimum of 3 years experience in industrial electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment • Experience with PVC, PPR, plastic extrusion, or related production equipment is an added advantage • Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals • Strong electrical troubleshooting, fault-diagnosis, and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of industrial automation, controls, and preventive maintenance • Good communication, teamwork, and safety consciousness Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Lagos, Nigeria • Onsite manufacturing environment Compensation & Benefits: • Competitive remuneration • Opportunities for professional growth and development • Exposure to modern manufacturing processes and technologies • A dynamic, performance-driven work environment Application Instructions: • Interested and qualified candidates should send their CVs via email using 'Extrusion Technician (Electrical)' as the subject line before the application deadline of 12 October 2026, 6:00 PM (WAT).
