Role & Company / Project Overview: We are hiring a Cybersecurity Engineer – Endpoint & User Security. The role is responsible for securing enterprise endpoints, devices, users, and data, with a strong focus on the Microsoft security ecosystem. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Manage Microsoft Defender XDR & Endpoint across Windows, macOS, and mobile devices • Administer Microsoft Intune, device compliance, security baselines, and Autopilot • Develop endpoint hardening and attack surface reduction policies • Implement Conditional Access, MFA, and Zero Trust security controls • Manage BYOD and mobile security solutions • Support Microsoft Purview, DLP, Information Protection, and data governance • Investigate identity security events and suspicious authentication activity • Manage Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Proofpoint, and Abnormal Security • Investigate phishing, spoofing, and business email compromise incidents • Participate in incident response and continuous security improvement • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a related field • 3–5+ years of Cybersecurity / Endpoint Engineering experience • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender XDR & Endpoint • Strong Microsoft Intune administration experience • Experience with Microsoft Purview DLP & Information Protection • Strong understanding of Windows endpoint security and device management • Experience with Entra ID, Conditional Access, and MFA • Knowledge of Zero Trust and endpoint hardening • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills • Preferred: Microsoft certifications such as SC-200, SC-300, SC-400, AZ-500, or MD-102 • Preferred: Experience with Defender XDR / Microsoft Security Copilot • Preferred: BYOD & mobile security experience • Preferred: Experience with Entra ID, PIM, and Conditional Access • Preferred: Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, or SOC 2 • Eligibility: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Malaysia (no visa sponsorship available) Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Kuala Lumpur | Fully WFH after training • Night Shift: 8PM–5AM OR 9PM–6AM • Schedule: Monday–Friday | Follows U.S. Public Holidays Compensation & Benefits: • Basic Salary: RM7,000–RM8,300 per month • RM400 Shift Allowance • RM150 WFH Allowance Application Instructions: • Apply via email or WhatsApp contact provided in the posting.
