Role & Company / Project Overview We are hiring a strategic and hands-on Head of Human Resources (HR Head) in Kolkata. The role reports directly to the CEO / Managing Director. Preferred industry background includes Healthcare, Eldercare, Hospitality, or Service Sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, capable of driving organizational growth, strengthening HR processes, and building a high-performing workforce. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Lead and manage end-to-end HR operations, policies, and strategies. - Oversee talent acquisition, manpower planning, onboarding, and workforce management. - Drive employee engagement, retention, performance management, and organizational development. - Manage compensation, benefits, payroll, HR budgeting, and statutory compliance. - Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and performance management systems. - Handle employee relations, grievance management, and disciplinary matters. - Partner with leadership to align HR strategies with business goals and expansion plans. - Drive HR automation, HRMS implementation, and HR analytics. - Build a people-centric, performance-driven organizational culture. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Qualification: MBA / PGDM in HR. - Experience: 12+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably leading the entire HR function. - Strong knowledge of HR operations, talent management, labour laws, and statutory compliance. - Proven experience managing corporate, operational, and frontline workforces. - Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. - Demonstrated ability to independently manage the complete HR function and build scalable HR processes.
