Role & Company / Project Overview: We are looking for a motivated Journalism Intern to be attached to our Kitale branch. This role offers hands-on experience in news gathering, media writing, reporting, and content compilation. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Assist in researching, drafting, and proofreading news articles, reports, and informational pieces • Support coverage of events, interviews, and community stories as needed • Assist in reviewing facts, verifying information, and organizing editorial content • Collaborate with media and communications staff on editorial assignments Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Enrolled in or completed coursework, diploma, or degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field • Strong command of written and spoken language with excellent editorial sense • Inquisitive mindset, keen observational skills, and strong interest in reporting • Ability to handle assignments under deadlines Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Kitale branch • Working schedule: Standard operational internship hours Application Instructions: • Interested candidates can drop their CVs via recruitment email • Interview date: 5th November 2026 • Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
