We are seeking a Settlements Officer to support the efficient and accurate execution of financial operations relating to institutional aggregation services, including account setup, float management, payment processing, transaction reconciliation, and settlement of partner SACCO funds. The role ensures timely processing of bank transfers and MSACCO withdrawals, accurate maintenance of financial records, and prompt resolution of transaction discrepancies to support reliable service delivery to partner SACCOs. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Manage institutional accounts on the aggregation platform for bank transfers and Airtel Money withdrawals • Load and monitor float balances to facilitate withdrawals and bank transfers, ensuring adequate availability of funds • Record float payments in designated voucher books and maintain accurate supporting documentation • Support partner SACCOs in accessing internet banking platforms for transaction tracking, reconciliation, and verification of float payments • Conduct daily reconciliations of MTN, Airtel wallets, and DFCU Bank & Stanbic bank account wallets against transaction records and system reports • Ensure timely settlement and liquidation of partner SACCO funds, tracking outstanding balances and delayed payments • Investigate and escalate failed, delayed, or unreflected transactions, reconciliation discrepancies, and other payment-related exceptions • Prepare accurate operational reports and maintain complete records of transactions, reconciliations, float movements, and settlements • Adhere strictly to established financial controls, approval procedures, and documentation requirements Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Banking, or a related field • At least 2 years of relevant experience in financial operations, payments processing, reconciliations, or settlements • Experience in mobile money operations, float management, or digital financial services is an added advantage • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools • Experience working with SACCOs, banks, or fintech platforms is desirable • Strong key skills: Financial analysis and reporting, client relationship management, technical proficiency with banking software, and analytical/strategic thinking Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Work Station: Future Link Technologies Ltd (FLT), Plot 97, Bukoto Street, Kampala, Uganda • Full-time on-site office arrangement Application Instructions: Send your application to the designated careers email address.
