• Role & Company / Project Overview: EDU360 Integrated Education is opening Grade 1 in January 2027, creating an opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic Foundation Phase teacher to help establish this exciting new offering. We are looking for a teacher who shares our commitment to inclusive education, understands neurodiversity, and recognises that children learn, develop, and experience the world differently. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Teach Grade 1 learners using the CAPS Foundation Phase curriculum and assessment requirements. - Create an engaging classroom environment where every child feels valued, understood, supported, and capable. - Deliver differentiated teaching and individualized learning support tailored to neurodiverse learners. - Recognize emerging learning difficulties and respond with appropriate strategies. - Accommodate sensory needs and emotional regulation through structured, supportive routines. - Collaborate actively with parents, teaching colleagues, and multidisciplinary professionals. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Recognised Foundation Phase teaching qualification and SACE registration. - Valid police clearance certificate. - Proven Grade 1 teaching experience, preferably in an inclusive or specialist educational environment. - Sound knowledge of CAPS Foundation Phase curriculum and assessment requirements. - Strong foundational literacy, numeracy, and early childhood development teaching skills. - Excellent written and spoken English. - Understanding of neurodiversity, sensory needs, emotional regulation, and structured routines. - Creativity, patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for working with young children. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Employment Type: Full-time. - Commencement: January 2027. - Location: EDU360 Rivonia, Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. • Application Instructions: - Please submit your CV, relevant qualifications, and a brief covering letter outlining your experience and passion for inclusive Foundation Phase education. - Closing date: 13 November 2026. - Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
