• Role & Company / Project Overview: Bright IT Inc. is seeking an experienced VDI Architect – Omnissa with extensive enterprise Virtual Desktop Infrastructure engineering and architecture expertise for an engagement located in Jersey City, NJ. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Architect, engineer, and deploy enterprise Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). - Perform desktop imaging, patching, and comprehensive lifecycle management. - Diagnose and resolve complex VDI performance, user authentication, and network connectivity issues. - Manage and support Windows 11, Active Directory (AD), and Group Policy (GPO). - Develop automation routines and administrative scripts utilizing PowerShell. - Oversee networking integrations involving DNS, firewalls, and load balancers. - Ensure all infrastructure adheres to strict security, compliance, and audit requirements. - Draft and maintain architectural and operational technical documentation. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Mandatory Skills: - Enterprise VDI Engineering experience - VMware Horizon / Citrix / Azure Virtual Desktop / Amazon WorkSpaces - VDI Architecture & Desktop Delivery - Windows 11, Active Directory (AD) & Group Policy (GPO) - PowerShell Scripting & Automation - Desktop Imaging, Patching & Lifecycle Management - VDI Troubleshooting: Performance, Authentication & Connectivity - Networking: DNS, Load Balancers & Firewalls - Security, Compliance & Audit Controls - Technical Documentation - Good-to-Have Skills: - VMware Horizon: Connection Servers, Agents & Desktop Pools - AWS / Azure Cloud Desktops - Linux Desktop Engineering - FSLogix & User Profile Management - Infrastructure as Code (Terraform & Automation Tools) - Cloud Cost Optimization & Capacity Planning - Isolated / Internet-Facing Environment Design - VDI Migration & Pilot Deployment Experience • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Engagement: C2C / W2 contract. - Location: Jersey City, New Jersey, United States. • Compensation & Benefits: - Rate: $65/hr on C2C | $75/hr on W2. • Application Instructions: - Candidates should submit updated resume, current location, work authorization, and availability.
