### Role & Company / Project Overview An established organization in the Automotive / Auto Components industry is hiring for the position of MIG Welding Production Shift Incharge – Engineer / Senior Engineer based in Jalisana, Gujarat. The opening is for 2 positions, focused on overseeing shop-floor welding activities and driving production efficiency. ### Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Manage shift-wise MIG welding production activities and ensure timely achievement of production targets. • Supervise welding operators and shop-floor manpower to maintain smooth and efficient production operations. • Ensure proper execution of MIG welding processes in strict compliance with approved work instructions and production plans. • Monitor productivity, weld quality, rejection rates, and rework levels. • Coordinate closely with Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams to resolve production issues promptly. • Troubleshoot welding process problems and minimize machine downtime. • Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials across shifts. • Maintain shift production reports and ensure rigorous adherence to 5S methodology and plant safety standards. ### Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Educational Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline. • Experience: Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in MIG welding production. • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of MIG welding processes, shop-floor operations, and production planning. • Industry Experience: Prior experience in the automotive or auto components manufacturing industry is preferred. • Core Competencies: Proven team handling, shift management, and leadership skills. ### Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Job Location: Jalisana, Gujarat, India. • Shift Details: Shift-based manufacturing operations. • Work Type: Full-time Onsite. ### Compensation & Benefits • Salary: ₹50,000 to ₹55,000 per month. ### Application Instructions • Qualified candidates are requested to send their updated CV via email with the subject line 'Application – MIG Welding Production Shift Incharge | Jalisana, Gujarat'.
