Job description
Role & Company / Project Overview: We are currently seeking a Database Specialist to join our client, a leading global beauty retailer and part of a prestigious international luxury group, supporting its regional operations across Southeast Asia and other international markets (covering Southeast Asia and the Middle East). Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Create and maintain master data records in SAP through a ticketing system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with global data standards. • Monitor data quality and identify duplicate, incorrect, or incomplete records. • Perform data validation, cleansing, and issue resolution to maintain data integrity. • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and master data-related projects. • Maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and internal guidelines. • Collaborate with regional stakeholders and external service providers to resolve data-related issues and ensure consistent processes. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Minimum of a two-year higher education diploma. • At least 1 year of experience working in a Shared Service Center within an international company. • Hands-on experience with SAP and SAP S/4HANA is required. • Experience in master data management, data quality, data validation, or data cleansing. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve duplicate or inaccurate data. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and documentation management. • Fluent in English mandatory, with strong written and verbal communication skills. • Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with regional teams. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Jakarta, Indonesia. • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days WFO & 2 days WFH). • Regional Coverage: Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
