Role & Company / Project Overview: Mining One is recruiting a Senior Geologist with deep technical expertise in exploration and resource geology to join their consulting team in Jakarta, Indonesia. In this senior role, you will lead and deliver complex geological modelling and Mineral Resource Estimates (MRE) while working with technical experts across diverse global mining projects. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Deliver defensible Mineral Resource Estimates (MRE) strictly adhering to international reporting standards • Develop advanced 3D geological models integrating complex lithology, alteration, mineralisation, and structural interpretations • Perform robust geostatistical analysis, variography, and block modelling • Lead and conduct comprehensive QA/QC reviews and validation of geological and assay datasets • Author and finalize authoritative technical reports, resource statements, and consulting deliverables • Lead and participate in technical discussions and presentations with clients and multidisciplinary project teams Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Degree in Geology or a related discipline • 10+ years of proven experience in exploration and resource geology • Proven track record delivering Mineral Resource Estimates (MRE) for gold and/or copper deposits • High proficiency in Leapfrog Geo, along with hands-on experience in Micromine and Datamine • Comprehensive, expert-level understanding of geostatistics, resource classification frameworks, and international reporting codes • Laterite deposit experience is an advantage • Excellent English communication skills (interviews will be conducted entirely in English) Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Jakarta, Indonesia • Application Deadline: Friday, 6 November 2026 • Full-time international consultancy schedule Compensation & Benefits: • Global Exposure: Collaborate with international experts on diverse mining assets • Technical Impact: Lead high-level geological modelling and defensible resource estimation • Career Development: Advance your consulting leadership within an international firm • Collaborative Culture: Join a high-performing multidisciplinary environment Application Instructions: • Submit an updated CV prior to the deadline to apply.
