Role & Company / Project Overview: DCM Shriram Sugar Unit is hiring a passionate and result-oriented Sr. Lab Chemist (Executive) to join the Quality Control (QC) team on a permanent basis. The role is responsible for ensuring quality standards in raw materials, in-process testing, final products, regulatory compliance, laboratory operations, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Conduct and supervise routine, special, and raw material analysis. • Ensure compliance with QEHS, IMS, TPM, TQM, Bonsucro, Food Safety, and regulatory requirements. • Maintain laboratory hygiene, calibration of instruments, chemicals, and glassware. • Analyze and record quality data accurately for continuous improvement. • Support COA preparation, stock analysis, and inventory verification. • Utilize SAP for material indenting, service entry, and quality management activities. • Lead and guide laboratory support staff for efficient operations. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Qualification: B.Sc. • Experience: Minimum 3 years of shift experience in the Sugar Industry. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • In-depth Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) knowledge. • Hands-on exposure to SAP and laboratory software (KMS). • Strong computer proficiency. • Solid understanding of quality, compliance, and safety standards.
