• Role & Company / Project Overview Seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Financials Test Engineer to lead quality assurance for the Oracle Fusion General Ledger (GL) module. The role requires end-to-end expertise across the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), robust SQL validation skills, and effective collaboration with technical and business stakeholders. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Analyze business requirements and functional specifications to create comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and cases. - Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for Oracle Fusion GL. - Validate key GL processes, including journal creation, period management, Chart of Accounts, and subledger accounting. - Write SQL queries to verify journal entries, account balances, reconciliations, and backend data accuracy. - Perform regression testing during Oracle quarterly patch updates. - Log, track, and retest defects using Jira, ALM, or similar defect management tools. - Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and business users to clarify requirements and troubleshoot issues. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Total experience: 7+ years. - Minimum 3 years of hands-on Oracle Fusion GL testing experience. - Core expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials and Oracle Fusion General Ledger (GL). - Strong SQL proficiency for backend validation. - Extensive experience in the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). - Proven competence in functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. - Demonstrated proficiency in test planning, test case design, execution, and defect management. - Good to have: Experience with Jira, ALM, or similar test and defect management platforms. - Good to have: Experience testing Oracle quarterly patch updates. - Good to have: In-depth knowledge of journal processing, period management, Chart of Accounts, and subledger accounting. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location details not specified in the source posting. • Application Instructions Interested candidates should submit their resumes along with Current CTC, Expected CTC, Current Location, Notice Period & Last Working Day (LWD), and Total & Relevant Experience.
