Role & Company / Project Overview: Xperteez Technology is seeking an experienced Senior Book Editor to lead developmental editing, line editing, and proofreading for comprehensive publishing projects. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Perform substantive developmental editing, line editing, and proofreading on book manuscripts. • Collaborate directly with authors and editorial staff to refine voice, flow, structure, and narrative quality. • Ensure manuscripts adhere strictly to publication style guidelines, grammar standards, and formatting. • Manage project deadlines across multiple concurrent publishing assignments. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Substantial professional editing experience with published books or commercial publications. • Exceptional command of the English language, structural narrative analysis, and copyediting styles. • High attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills for author feedback.
