Job description

• Role & Company / Project Overview: Nereus Marine Pvt Ltd is urgently hiring qualified and experienced Second Officers (2/O) for upcoming vessel openings. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Act as primary navigational watchkeeper at sea and supervise cargo watches in port. - Maintain nautical charts, electronic navigational publications, ECDIS, and voyage passage plans. - Ensure full operational readiness and inspection of medical equipment, life-saving appliances (LSA), and fire-fighting appliances (FFA). - Maintain ship logs, weather reports, and statutory documentation. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) as Second Mate / 2nd Officer (Foreign Going). - Proven sea experience in rank aboard merchant vessels. - Valid STCW certifications, passport, CDC, and marine medical fitness certificate. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: Shipboard / Merchant vessels. - Country: India (recruiting company headquarters). - Immediate / upcoming vessel openings. • Compensation & Benefits: - Competitive salary packages. - Career growth and promotion opportunities. - Professional working environment and supportive management. • Application Instructions: - Share your updated CV and maritime documentation to apply.
