### Role & Company / Project Overview Evolutyz is hiring experienced Senior SQL DBA professionals to join their team in India. This role functions as a Lead / Subject Matter Expert (SME) delivering hands-on SQL Server administration and Azure DBA expertise for enterprise database systems. ### Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Serve as a Lead / SME with hands-on SQL Server and Azure DBA expertise. • Manage, architect, and optimize database systems, including table partitioning and architecture design. • Implement and maintain SQL Server High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) solutions, including Always On Availability Groups (AG) and Distributed Availability Groups (DAG). • Execute enterprise database administration operations, including backups, restores, recovery models, and maintenance plans. • Conduct end-to-end performance tuning and database query/system optimization. • Implement database security standards, Transparent Data Encryption (TDE), and administrative automations using T-SQL and PowerShell scripts. • Provide advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution for critical production database issues. ### Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Total Experience: 12+ years of overall experience as a SQL Database Administrator. • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Cloud (PaaS & IaaS environments, Azure SQL PaaS, and IaaS). • 8+ years of dedicated experience in Performance Tuning & Optimization. • In-depth expertise in SQL Server HA/DR, Always On AG, and DAG configurations. • Hands-on proficiency with Transparent Data Encryption (TDE), PowerShell, and T-SQL. • Solid background in database architecture and table partitioning. • Experience managing enterprise backups, restores, recovery models, and maintenance. • Proven track record as a Lead / SME in database environments. • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. ### Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Job Type: Full-time • Location: India ### Application Instructions Interested candidates can share their updated resume with the recruitment team via the designated contact email or submit their profile via JobDiva.
