Role & Company / Project Overview: SPTek is hiring a Senior to Expert-level Network Security & Infrastructure Subject Matter Expert (SME) for enterprise networking environments. This is a hands-on implementation and migration project, not a NOC, monitoring, operations, or architecture-only role. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Execute hands-on enterprise network and security design, implementation, and migration. • Carry out Fortinet Firewall migrations, upgrades, and refresh projects. • Perform F5 BIG-IP Load Balancer build, migrations, and upgrade projects. • Handle network hardware replacement and upgrade projects on Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms. • Deliver strong hands-on troubleshooting across Layer 2 and Layer 3 (L2/L3) routing and switching. • Directly manage network engineering challenges within Enterprise or BFSI environments. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Senior to Expert-level experience as a network security engineer. • Demonstrated hands-on experience in enterprise network & security implementations. • Solid background with Fortinet firewalls, F5 BIG-IP load balancers, and Cisco Catalyst/Nexus hardware. • Expert-level L2/L3 routing and switching troubleshooting skills. • Experience working directly within Enterprise or BFSI environments. • Candidates must be available to join immediately or within a notice period of up to 30 days.
