Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview: P.R.O Marine Solutions is hiring an AutoCAD Designer – Electrical to join our growing engineering team and participate in innovative engineering projects serving the Marine & Offshore sector. The role offers exposure to marine, offshore, automation, propulsion, and power distribution technologies within a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Prepare and modify electrical and automation drawings using AutoCAD. - Develop schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and single-line diagrams (SLDs). - Support engineering teams with project documentation and drawing updates. - Review technical specifications and incorporate design requirements into engineering drawings. - Maintain drawing revisions and project documentation. - Coordinate with engineers, suppliers, and project teams to ensure accurate design deliverables. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering. - Experience: 2+ years of experience preferred; freshers with strong AutoCAD skills are welcome to apply. - Core Requirements: High proficiency in AutoCAD; demonstrated ability to design & prepare electrical and automation drawings (schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams & single-line diagrams); basic knowledge of electrical engineering principles, automation systems, and power distribution systems; ability to interpret engineering specifications, technical documents, and vendor drawings; strong attention to detail and accuracy; good communication and coordination skills; ability to work independently and meet project deadlines; eagerness to learn and grow within the Marine & Offshore sector. - Preferred Skills: Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar drafting software; exposure to marine, offshore, industrial automation, power generation, or electrical engineering projects. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: India (on-site engineering office). - Working schedule as per standard engineering project requirements. • Compensation & Benefits: - Collaborative, growth-oriented work environment. - Opportunities for professional development and hands-on industry experience across automation, propulsion, and power distribution technologies. • Application Instructions: - Interested candidates should apply by sending their updated CV with the subject line 'AutoCAD Designer'.
