Role & Company / Project Overview: Hire Attract Consulting Ltd is seeking a reliable, experienced, and hardworking Dispatch Rider for full-time employment in the service industry. The role purpose is to handle the prompt delivery and collection of documents, packages, and items within Ikeja and its environs, ensuring timely, safe, and accurate delivery. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Delivery and Collection: Deliver and pick up documents, packages, and items to/from clients, vendors, and company locations; ensure items are delivered to the right recipients on time. • Route Planning: Plan efficient routes to meet delivery schedules; use navigation tools and good knowledge of Ikeja and surrounding areas. • Documentation: Obtain and keep delivery receipts or acknowledgements where applicable; ensure accurate recording of deliveries and collections. • Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the assigned motorcycle in good working condition; ensure the motorcycle is clean and well-fuelled; report any mechanical issues promptly. • Safety and Compliance: Follow all traffic rules and regulations; use protective gear (helmet, reflective jacket, etc.) at all times. • Errands and Support: Run official errands as assigned by management; assist with bank deposits, payments, or other assigned tasks. • Item Handling: Handle all items with care to avoid damage or loss; maintain confidentiality of sensitive documents and information. • Reporting: Provide regular updates on delivery status; report any delay, incident, or challenge to the appropriate authority. • Professional Conduct: Represent the company professionally; be courteous, reliable, and trustworthy at all times. • Team Support: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations. • Other Duties: Carry out other reasonable assignments as directed. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Minimum of SSCE or equivalent. • Valid motorcycle rider's licence and necessary documentation (e.g. roadworthiness, insurance). • Good knowledge of Ikeja and Lagos routes/surrounding areas. • Previous dispatch riding or delivery experience is an advantage. • Honest, responsible, reliable, and trustworthy. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Good time-management skills and ability to meet delivery schedules. • Strong attention to detail. • Physically fit, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Willingness to follow instructions. • Must be available for immediate resumption.
