• Role & Company / Project Overview SmartBytes Tech is hiring for the position of Senior Embedded Software Engineer (Modern C++) based in Hyderabad. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Develop, maintain, and optimize embedded firmware for bare-metal and RTOS environments - Implement and debug communication drivers and protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, DMA, NFC/RFID) - Integrate and test payment security protocols, cryptography, and smart card standards (EMV, ISO 7816, ISO 14443) - Utilize modern build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and simulation environments for debugging and firmware verification • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 3 to 8 years of relevant professional experience - Strong expertise in Modern C++ (C++17+) - Solid background in Embedded Firmware Development (Bare-metal / RTOS) - Working knowledge of EMV Contact/Contactless, ISO 7816, and ISO 14443 standards - Hands-on experience developing embedded drivers: SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, DMA, NFC/RFID - Strong understanding of Payment Security & Cryptography - Proficiency with CMake, QEMU/SIL, embedded debugging tools, and CI/CD pipelines - Experience with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or Kiro is a plus • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India • Compensation & Benefits - Not specified • Application Instructions - Send your resume or contact directly via the provided email address.
