• Role & Company / Project Overview Tekskills is hiring a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer with 7+ years of experience to design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications and backend systems in Hyderabad. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby and Ruby on Rails code. - Implement secure REST APIs, clean MVC architecture, and object-oriented programming patterns. - Design, manage, and optimize database schemas and complex queries using PostgreSQL/MySQL. - Build responsive frontend interfaces and integrate frontend components with backend services. - Implement third-party API integrations, payment gateway mechanisms, and external services. - Deploy and maintain containerized applications across cloud infrastructures. - Participate in Agile ceremonies, manage source control via Git, and maintain CI/CD pipelines. - Conduct rigorous troubleshooting, performance tuning, code reviews, and production support. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 7+ years of professional software development experience. - Strong, proven experience in Ruby on Rails and Ruby programming. - Hands-on expertise with RESTful APIs, MVC architecture, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts. - Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and MySQL, including query optimization techniques. - Frontend proficiency with JavaScript, ReactJS, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. - Practical experience with third-party API integrations and payment gateways. - Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS or Azure), Docker, Kubernetes, and Microservices architecture. - Proficient understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodology. - Strong troubleshooting, application performance tuning, and production support skills. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India • Compensation & Benefits - Not specified • Application Instructions - Forward updated resumes to the recruiter or connect directly via the provided contact phone number.
