Job description

Role & Company / Project Overview: We are hiring a Senior AWS Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in building scalable cloud-native data platforms and modern Data Lakehouse solutions. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines. • Implement enterprise-scale AWS Data Lakehouse platforms, specifically utilizing Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver & Gold Layers) and Apache Iceberg. • Drive technical discussions and provide technical leadership across data engineering initiatives. • Manage and maintain cloud services, data lakes, CDC, and data partitioning strategies. • Ensure data quality, data governance, performance tuning, and data security. • Build orchestration workflows and integrate CI/CD pipelines. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in AWS Data Engineering. • Strong hands-on experience implementing Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver & Gold Layers) is mandatory. • Strong experience with AWS Glue, S3, Athena, Redshift, EMR, and Lake Formation. • Hands-on experience with Apache Iceberg and modern Lakehouse Architecture. • Strong programming proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, and PySpark. • Good understanding of Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, CDC, and Data Partitioning. • Experience with Apache Airflow or AWS Step Functions. • Exposure to AWS Lambda, Kinesis, IAM, KMS, and CI/CD pipelines. • Notice period requirement: Immediate to 30 days.
