Role & Company / Project Overview We are hiring for a Resident Network Engineer for an exciting C2C project. The position is primarily remote based out of Houston, TX, with occasional travel required to Colorado Springs, CO, USA. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Provide resident network engineering support for enterprise and data center network infrastructure. • Support routing and switching architectures including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN, and EVPN. • Work with Juniper platforms such as QFX, PTX, MX Series, EX Switches, and SRX Firewalls. • Implement and maintain network automation solutions utilizing Python. • Support wireless networking and wired assurance environments, including Mist Wireless. • Perform proactive network testing, troubleshooting, security management, and architecture enhancements. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Must be a US Citizen. • Active DoD Top Secret clearance is strictly required. • Must hold valid Juniper Certification. • Extensive experience in network engineering, data center networking, and routing/switching. • Experience with Junos OS, SRX Firewalls, and Juniper network platforms. • Hands-on capability in network automation (Python automation) and telecom/network troubleshooting. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Location: Houston, TX, USA (Remote). • Occasional travel to Colorado Springs, CO, USA. • Work arrangement: Remote / C2C.
