Role & Company / Project Overview We are seeking an Engineer II to support electrical and structural substation engineering projects, including design, construction, materials, procurement, and project coordination. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Electrical drawings, one-lines, grounding, conduit & foundation design • Review vendor and engineering drawings/specifications • Support new and existing substation facility projects • Prepare BOMs, work orders & construction packages in SAP • Coordinate materials, fabrication & procurement • Manage multiple engineering projects and contractors • Support construction, maintenance & field activities • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, inspectors, vendors & field teams • Track project progress and construction schedules • Perform substation facility line ratings using CNP methodologies • Support engineering standards and regulatory requirements • Mentor junior engineering staff Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field • 2–4 years of engineering experience • Substation / electrical engineering experience preferred • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings • Strong analytical, communication & project coordination skills • Familiarity with engineering software and industry standards Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Location: Houston, TX • Employment Type: Contract Application Instructions • Interested candidates: Send your resume to the designated recruiting contact.
