Role & Company / Project Overview: CALDIM Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a senior structural engineering professional to join our Hosur team in Steel Detailing & Structural Modeling as a Tekla Checker. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Perform rigorous quality checking and verification of 3D Tekla models, structural fabrication shop drawings, and erection plans against design drawings and calculations. • Validate connection designs, dimensions, part marks, member sizes, and bill of materials for accuracy and constructability. • Identify errors, model discrepancies, and drafting conflicts, and coordinate with Tekla modelers and detailers to implement corrective actions. • Ensure complete compliance with project requirements, AISC / regional building codes, and client standards. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 5+ years of extensive experience in structural steel checking and detailing utilizing Tekla Structures. • Expert-level understanding of structural drawings, connection details, fabrication tolerances, and erection methodologies. • Exceptional quality control acumen and attention to detail.
