Role & Company / Project Overview B2B Industrial Solutions is hiring for 2 vacancies of Fire Safety Auditor (Fire Audit, Compliance & Statutory Approvals) to join the team in Gurugram. The role involves exposure to diverse projects and clients, learning and growth opportunities, and a supportive work environment. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Conduct Fire Safety Audits: Plan and independently conduct fire safety audits of commercial, industrial, residential, and institutional buildings as per applicable codes and standards. • Compliance Assessment: Check compliance with NBC, State Fire Rules, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards, and other applicable regulations. • Audit Reporting: Prepare detailed fire audit reports with observations, risk assessment, recommendations, and corrective action plans. • Statutory Approvals Support: Support clients in Fire NOC application, submission, renewal, and follow-up with State Fire Services and other statutory authorities. • Client Coordination: Interact with clients, site teams, facility management, and government departments for smooth closure of audit and compliance activities. • Identify Risk & Recommend Solutions: Identify fire safety gaps, suggest engineering and administrative measures including fire detection, protection systems, evacuation planning, etc. • Wide Exposure: Conduct audits for malls, hotels, corporate offices, residential complexes, hospitals, educational institutions, factories, industrial plants, and other facilities. • Documentation & Tracking: Maintain audit records, compliance trackers, and support clients in the implementation of recommendations. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Minimum 5 years of practical experience in fire safety audits, compliance, and statutory approvals across all types of buildings (malls, hotels, factories, industries, corporate offices, hospitals, educational institutions, and residential buildings). • Relevant qualification or authorisation for Fire Safety Auditor (e.g., empanelment, affiliation, or recognition from State Government authorities or an equivalent authorised body). • Strong knowledge of NBC, State Fire Rules, Fire Safety standards (NFPA/IS), Fire NOC, and applicable statutory requirements. • Proven experience in Fire NOC application, submission, renewal, and coordination with State Fire Services. • Ability to handle projects independently from planning to final report submission, with strong report writing, documentation, presentation, and communication skills. • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of AutoCAD for recommendation drawings and mark-ups is an added advantage. • Candidates must be residents of Gurugram. • Flexibility for travel for site visits and departmental coordination is essential.
