• Role & Company / Project Overview 39K Group is looking for a skilled and performance-driven Quant Trader to join its growing trading team in Gurugram, India. The position operates within the High-Frequency Trading (HFT), Cryptocurrency, and Market Making domain, seeking candidates with hands-on experience in live trading, quantitative strategies, cryptocurrency markets, and robust programming abilities. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Develop, implement, and optimise quantitative and algorithmic trading strategies. - Execute and monitor live trading strategies across cryptocurrency and derivatives markets. - Analyse market data, identify trading opportunities, and improve strategy performance. - Work on market-making, arbitrage, and high-frequency trading strategies. - Monitor trading P&L, risk exposure, and execution performance. - Collaborate with quantitative researchers and developers to enhance trading systems. - Continuously evaluate and improve trading strategies based on market behaviour and performance. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 2–4 years of relevant experience in Quantitative Trading / Algorithmic Trading / Crypto Trading. - Hands-on experience managing live trading strategies with demonstrable trading P&L. - Candidates with actual trading desk experience, strategy ownership, and measurable P&L performance (preference given to practical live trading experience rather than purely academic, theoretical, or research exposure). - Strong understanding of financial markets, derivatives, spot, and perpetual futures. - Practical exposure to cryptocurrency exchanges such as Binance, OKX, Bybit, or Deribit. - Experience in market making, arbitrage, or systematic trading. - Strong programming skills in C++, Python, or Rust. - Understanding of low-latency trading systems, market data processing, and execution strategies. - Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Work Location: Gurugram, Haryana, India. • Compensation & Benefits - Standard industry package and performance incentives commensurate with experience. • Application Instructions - Interested candidates should submit their updated CV through the designated application email.
