Role & Company / Project Overview: Bhagwati Products Limited is looking for a dedicated and people-oriented professional to join our team as Welfare Officer at Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The role is 100% worker-focused (Permanent, Contractual, and Third-party) in a high-volume manufacturing environment. The primary objective is to ensure statutory compliance, worker safety, grievance resolution, and harmonious employee relations. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Statutory Compliance: Enforce the Factories Act, ESI, EPF, Minimum Wages, and Contract Labour regulations; liaise with labour authorities. • Welfare Infrastructure: Oversee hygiene, quality, and upkeep of plant canteens, rest rooms, crèches, and drinking water facilities. • Grievance Redressal: Handle employee grievances, contractor disputes, and daily shop-floor counselling. • Committees Coordination: Coordinate statutory bodies including the Works Committee, Safety Committee, Canteen Committee, and Internal Complaints Committee (POSH). • Training & Welfare: Support worker awareness, safety training, engagement, and welfare initiatives. • Diversity & Inclusion: Support a safe, fair, and inclusive workplace. • Employee Welfare: Foster employee welfare, engagement, and overall employee relations. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Qualification: MSW (Master of Social Work) with statutory certification as a Labour Welfare Officer as applicable per state factory rules. • Experience: 2 to 6 years in large-scale manufacturing, electronics, automotive, or FMCG manufacturing environment. • Skills: Strong communication skills, good coordination, and employee-handling skills; passionate about creating a safe, fair, and employee-friendly workplace. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Plant/Head Office at Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. • Workplace Environment: Large-scale high-volume manufacturing plant.
