Role & Company / Project Overview: • Role: Firmware Validation Test Engineer • Company: Kutir Mobility / Kutir Tech • Immediate requirement for an experienced validation engineer Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Perform manual functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing on firmware and embedded systems • Develop test cases, execute defect tracking using JIRA, and carry out detailed root cause analysis • Conduct log analysis and debugging utilizing Wireshark, DLT, ADB, and Bluetooth traces • Perform production and field issue triage along with end-to-end firmware validation Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 8+ years of Firmware / Embedded QA & Validation experience • Mandatory Python scripting skills and proficiency with Linux/Ubuntu environments • Hands-on experience with wireless and networking technologies: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LTE/5G, GNSS, or vehicle networking • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field • Preferred Qualifications: Bluetooth stack validation, audio/streaming features, and automotive or autonomous vehicle industry experience Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Foster City, California, United States • Work Mode: Onsite Compensation & Benefits: • Hourly contract basis (expected hourly rate requested) Application Instructions: • Interested candidates please share an updated resume and expected hourly rate via email or direct message
