Role & Company / Project Overview: We are hiring a hands-on Applied AI Engineer with 3–5 years of overall software engineering experience and at least 1 year of hands-on AI/ML and Generative AI experience. The engineer will develop, test, integrate, deploy, and support scalable software solutions using modern programming languages, frameworks, AI tools, and agentic engineering practices. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Design, develop, test, integrate, deploy, and maintain software components under enterprise engineering standards. • Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, and translating business needs into technical specifications. • Write scalable, maintainable, high-quality code and actively participate in code reviews. • Build AI/ML and GenAI solutions, including prototypes, LLM integrations, RAG pipelines, and AI-enabled applications. • Utilize AI tools for code generation, code review, testing, documentation, and rapid prototyping while maintaining high quality. • Apply AI and Agentic Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) practices, automated deployments, and quality checks throughout the software development lifecycle. • Support architecture, dependencies, integrations, security, code quality, and ongoing system maintenance. • Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, experience, delivery, and engineering teams to achieve customer and business outcomes. • Follow Agile and DevSecOps practices, communicate progress and blockers, manage priorities, and continuously learn new technologies. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field. • 3–5 years of software engineering experience with one or more of: Angular, React, Node.js, Python, C#, .NET, Java, SQL/NoSQL, PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, or LangGraph. • Experience with unit testing frameworks and software engineering best practices. • 1+ year of AI/ML and GenAI experience, including LLM integration (OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source models), prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, or vector databases. • 1+ year of cloud-native engineering experience using FaaS, PaaS, or microservices on Azure, AWS, or GCP, including AI/ML services such as Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or Vertex AI. • Knowledge of Business Context Diagrams (BCD), sequence, activity, state, entity-relationship, and data-flow diagrams, OOP/OOD, data structures, and algorithms. • Exposure to Agile, DevSecOps, Azure DevOps (ADO), GitHub, SonarQube, MLflow, and agentic AI tools such as LangFuse, LangSmith, or equivalent is a plus. • Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, attention to detail, time management, and professional relationship-building skills. • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and learn from senior engineers.
