• Role & Company / Project Overview L'Arche Southern Vermont is hiring a founding House Leader as we prepare to open our first community home in Dummerston, Vermont. At L'Arche, people with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities share everyday life, build meaningful relationships, and create an inclusive home together. We are looking for an individual who shares our passion for building a community rooted in belonging, mutual respect, and shared life. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Play an integral and founding role in shaping the culture of our new community home. - Support core members and assistants in their daily shared life. - Help create an environment where everyone's gifts and contributions are recognized and valued. - Build meaningful, mutually respectful relationships within an intentional community setting. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Demonstrated passion for disability inclusion, shared life, and intentional community living. - Strong interpersonal, relational, and supportive leadership abilities. - Ability to work collaboratively with individuals with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Dummerston, Vermont, United States. - Onsite community living opportunity. • Compensation & Benefits - Optional Live-In Benefit: For individuals interested in living in the home, we offer the option of a private bedroom in a separate, more private area of the house featuring scenic views of the Vermont countryside (living in the home is completely optional). • Application Instructions - Review full details and apply via the designated application links or contact the organization directly.
