• Role & Company / Project Overview: ValueLabs is hiring a Python Development Engineer to join a dynamic team in Dubai, UAE. This role focuses on building scalable backend systems, designing robust APIs, and developing data-driven applications. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Build and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs using Flask/FastAPI - Develop clean, efficient, and secure backend code for data-heavy applications - Design and optimize database schemas and data transformation pipelines (ETL) - Work with ORMs (SQLAlchemy, Django ORM) and both relational & NoSQL databases - Implement microservices architecture with a strong focus on security (JWT, OAuth) and API gateways - Collaborate with frontend teams and contribute to CI/CD pipelines - Ensure code quality through testing, debugging, and Git-based collaboration • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python backend development - Strong experience with Flask, FastAPI, REST APIs, and asynchronous programming (asyncio) - Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, Docker, and AWS/Azure (nice to have) - Knowledge of data engineering concepts (ETL, Spark, Kafka) is a plus - Excellent communication skills and a team player mindset • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Full-Time position - Work arrangement: Onsite in Dubai, UAE • Compensation & Benefits: - Competitive compensation package provided by ValueLabs based on experience • Application Instructions: - Apply by sending your updated resume directly to the recruitment team
