Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview Alftek International is looking for an experienced VAPT Manager to join our team in Qatar. We are seeking a skilled cybersecurity professional to lead and manage Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) activities across applications, networks, infrastructure, APIs, cloud environments, and other technology platforms. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Lead and manage end-to-end VAPT activities and security testing engagements. - Review vulnerability reports, assess risks, and prioritize findings based on severity and business impact. - Coordinate with cybersecurity, IT, business teams, and external vendors. - Track remediation, conduct retesting, and validate closure of security findings. - Prepare management-level reports on vulnerabilities, risks, and remediation progress. - Ensure compliance with security policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. - Support audits and continuously improve VAPT processes. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, IT, or a related field. - Experience: 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, penetration testing, vulnerability management, or information security. - Proven experience managing VAPT programs and security testing engagements. - Mandatory Certification: OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional). - Strong technical knowledge covering network, web application, API, mobile, cloud, and infrastructure security. - In-depth understanding of OWASP, CVSS, vulnerability exploitation, and risk assessment. - Strong stakeholder management, communication, and reporting skills. - Demonstrated ability to translate technical vulnerabilities into business risks. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Employment Type: Full-time - Location: Doha, Qatar - Eligibility: Candidates must be currently residing in Qatar and locally available. • Compensation & Benefits - Not specified • Application Instructions - Interested and locally available candidates should share their updated CV via the provided contact email or phone.
