Job description
Role & Company / Project Overview: The Branch of China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd. (CHEC) is seeking an experienced and qualified BIM Manager for the Arena Block Project in Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role oversees end-to-end building information modeling processes across architecture, structure, civil, infrastructure, MEP, and 5D cost coordination for major mega-project construction. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Develop and implement the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) in accordance with ISO 19650 standards. • Lead comprehensive BIM coordination across architectural, structural, civil, infrastructure, and MEP disciplines. • Manage federated models, clash detection routines, technical issue resolution, and regular model audits. • Manage Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows, information exchange, and digital approval processes. • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal CHEC project teams. • Monitor LOD compliance, constructability, shop drawings generation, and as-built model delivery. • Support 4D construction sequencing, 5D cost integration, and final digital handover. • Prepare detailed BIM reports, dashboards, and model-delivery schedules. • Guide, mentor, and supervise BIM coordinators and modelers, and lead multidisciplinary coordination meetings. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering. • Minimum 12 years of professional engineering/construction experience, including at least 5 years dedicated to BIM management. • Proven track record on arenas, stadiums, large buildings, or complex mega projects. • Strong, in-depth knowledge of ISO 19650 standards, BEP authoring, CDE workflows, and LOD standards. • Advanced proficiency in Revit, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, and ACC / BIM 360 platforms. • Strong multidisciplinary coordination, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills. • GCC or Saudi Arabian mega-project experience is preferred. • Immediate or short-notice availability is preferred. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Project Location: Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. • On-site project management deployment.
