Role & Company / Project Overview: Remark HB Limited, a proud member of Remark-Herlan Group, is looking for a talented and result-oriented Senior Software Engineer – Java/Spring Boot to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing and developing secure, scalable, high-performance enterprise applications that support business growth and digital transformation. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL and/or Oracle. • Develop secure, scalable, and high-performance RESTful APIs. • Translate business and technical requirements into effective technology solutions. • Develop optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and database operations. • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. • Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and production issues. • Contribute to system architecture, performance optimization, scalability, and continuous improvement. • Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field. • Strong professional experience in Java & Spring Boot development. • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and/or Oracle Database. • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SQL, database design, and performance optimization. • Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, secure coding, and scalability. • Experience in debugging, production support, and performance tuning. • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies will be an advantage. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
