Role & Company / Project Overview We are seeking vendor partners with in-house resources for onsite allocation in Guyana (South America) for a Senior Utility Domain Engineer / IEC 61968/61970 CIM Specialist. This role requires highly specialised utility network and power domain expertise on a contractual basis. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Act as a domain specialist for electric utility, power systems, and CIM standards. • Model node-breaker and topological networks for transmission and distribution systems. • Work extensively on electrical connectivity, topology, feeders, transformers, breakers, isolators, and busbars. • Support integration and interoperability across utility operational systems. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Experience: 10–15+ years required. • Must have strong experience in: - Electric utility and power systems - Transmission & distribution - Substations - Feeders, transformers, breakers, isolators, and busbars - Electrical connectivity and topology - IEC 61968 / IEC 61970 standards - CIM (Common Information Model) - Node-breaker and topological network modelling • Preferred qualifications: - Experience with ADMS, OMS, SCADA, CIS, AMI/MDMS - CIM XML - GIS and utility network experience • Must have utility domain-based background. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Work mode: Onsite in Guyana (South America). • Work type: Contractual / C2C / Staff Augmentation.
