Role & Company / Project Overview We are looking for an experienced Power BI Administrator to manage and optimize enterprise Power BI environments in Dallas, TX. The role focuses on ensuring secure data connectivity, reliable report refreshes, effective governance, and operational excellence across enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Administer and maintain the enterprise Power BI environment, including tenant, workspace, capacity, and governance administration • Ensure reliable report refreshes and resolve gateway and connectivity issues across SQL Server, Snowflake, SharePoint, and folder sources • Install, configure, cluster, monitor, upgrade, and troubleshoot On-Premises Data Gateways • Automate administrative tasks utilizing PowerShell, Power BI REST APIs, Azure Service Principals, and Azure Automation • Manage access controls, Workspace Apps, Organizational Apps, audience permissions, publishing management, and security policies including RBAC, RLS, sensitivity labels, and audit compliance • Support deployment pipelines, CI/CD practices, and application publishing • Install, upgrade, and test Power BI Desktop on enterprise Windows machines • Maintain operational runbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs), monitor refresh performance, and resolve operational incidents • Maintain high refresh success rates while reducing manual administrative effort • Proactively identify and resolve operational risks and security issues Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • 10–12 years of professional experience in enterprise Power BI administration • Strong expertise in Power BI tenant, capacity, and workspace management • Proven experience with On-Premises Data Gateways, PowerShell automation, REST APIs, and Azure services • Hands-on data connectivity expertise with SQL Server, Snowflake, and SharePoint • Expertise in enterprise security, RBAC, RLS, and governance compliance • Work Authorization: USC, GC, GC EAD, H1B, or H4 EAD • Mandatory Requirement: Valid US Driver’s License • Ideal Candidate: A senior Power BI professional with strong enterprise administration, troubleshooting, automation, security, and governance experience Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Location: Dallas, TX • Work Arrangement: On-site • Openings: 1 Compensation & Benefits • Job Type: Contract • Pay Rate: $47/hour Application Instructions • Interested candidates are invited to submit their updated resume via direct message or email.
