Job description
Role & Company / Project Overview Xove Consulting is seeking an experienced Security Architect specializing in AI Cybersecurity Threat Monitoring to establish and operationalize threat response capabilities targeting and leveraging AI systems. This role focuses on identifying, detecting, investigating, hunting, and responding to emerging threats across enterprise GenAI, agentic AI, foundation models, and data sources. Rather than siloing AI security, the Architect will integrate AI threat response, threat modeling, and detection engineering into existing SOC, IR, and SecOps functions, drawing heavily from MITRE ATLAS, NIST AI RMF, and OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications. This individual must move seamlessly between threat research, architecture roadmapping, and hands-on detection engineering. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Security Operations, Detection Engineering & Threat Hunting: Lead SOC monitoring, SIEM/SOAR, alerting pipelines, and AI threat hunting operations. • AI & LLM Cybersecurity: Establish detection and security frameworks targeting GenAI, foundation models, and agentic AI systems. • Framework Integration: Operationalize frameworks such as MITRE ATLAS, OWASP for LLM Applications, and NIST AI RMF. • Purple Teaming & Adversary Emulation: Test attack scenarios and validate controls across AI and cloud architectures. • Telemetry & Observability Strategy: Establish logging telemetry pipelines, cloud & AI/ML visibility. • Non-Human Identity & Access Management: Secure service accounts, agents, API tokens, and machine-to-machine communications. • Cross-Functional Architecture & Stakeholder Leadership: Perform architecture reviews, lead executive briefings, and translate AI risks into business solutions. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Experience: 10+ years of dedicated professional experience in security architecture, engineering, and threat monitoring. • Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree preferred. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (Visa categories accepted: H1B, H4 EAD, GC). • Core Competencies: Strong expertise in AI/LLM Security, Generative AI & Agentic AI, SOC Monitoring, SIEM/SOAR & Detection Engineering, AWS Cloud Security, Incident Response, Security Architecture & IAM. • Preferred Certifications: Security Architecture & Leadership (CISSP, CCSP), GIAC (GCIH, GCIA, GDAT), AI Security Specialty (CAISP, CAISM, CompTIA Security+ AI), Cloud & AI Fundamentals or equivalent. • Ideal Candidate: Strong communicator who can collaborate cross-functionally, act as a technical leader/mentor, and translate technical risks into executive strategies. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Location: Dallas, Texas, USA • Work Type: Contract / Full-Time Compensation & Benefits • Competitive compensation offered Application Instructions • Send your updated resume via email with the position title mentioned in the subject line.
