• Role & Company / Project Overview Fixity Technologies is hiring an experienced AWS Migration Platform Engineer (Only Locals). The role involves building and managing large-scale object storage migration platforms, transferring data from OBSv2 / S3-compatible storage to Amazon S3. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Build and manage large-scale object storage migration platforms. - Transfer data from OBSv2 / S3-compatible storage to Amazon S3. - Execute high-volume data transfers using rclone, ensuring checksum validation, retries, and bandwidth throttling. - Implement and manage serverless and containerized workloads using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway, ECS Fargate, and AWS Batch. - Develop automation scripts using Python and Boto3. - Manage workflow state, job tracking, and metadata with DynamoDB. - Manage AWS networking, cross-account access, IAM policies, STS, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch monitoring, and deployment automation via GitLab CI/CD. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Strong hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, and API Gateway. - Experience with ECS Fargate, AWS Batch, and containerized workloads. - Strong Python development skills (Boto3, JSON, automation). - Hands-on experience with Amazon S3 and large-scale object storage migrations. - Strong experience with rclone, high-volume data transfers, checksum validation, retries, and bandwidth throttling. - Experience with DynamoDB, job tracking, and workflow state management. - Strong AWS networking knowledge: VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, NAT Gateway, and S3 Endpoints. - Expertise in IAM, STS, cross-account access, and Secrets Manager. - Experience with CloudWatch monitoring, GitLab CI/CD, and deployment automation. - Preferred: Dell ECS, OBSv2, or S3-compatible storage migration experience. - Preferred: Enterprise-scale data migration experience. - Preferred: AWS certifications and Infrastructure as Code experience. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Dallas, TX. - Work Arrangement: Day 1 Onsite (mandatory; locals only). • Application Instructions Interested candidates, please share your updated resume.
