Role & Company / Project Overview: Echo Personnel is recruiting for a permanent Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer on behalf of a busy FMCG manufacturing site based in Corby. The successful candidate will join a fast-paced manufacturing environment to keep production running smoothly, resolve equipment breakdowns, and execute both planned preventative and reactive maintenance schedules. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across plant machinery and equipment. • Perform reactive breakdown repairs promptly to minimize production downtime. • Conduct comprehensive mechanical and electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting. • Work proactively to ensure smooth, continuous manufacturing operations. • Adhere to health, safety, and manufacturing standard operating procedures. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Proven previous multi-skilled maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing facility. • Strong background in mechanical and electrical fault-finding and repairs. • Experience working in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment. • Ability to handle both planned maintenance tasks and urgent reactive breakdowns. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Corby, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom. • Shift Pattern: Rotating days and nights. • Employment Type: Permanent. Compensation & Benefits: • Salary: £42,000 to £43,000 per annum, depending on experience.
