• Role & Company / Project Overview The Coahoma County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the Clarksdale WIN Job Center, is holding an on-site hiring event seeking entry-level, non-certified recruits interested in launching a meaningful career in law enforcement and serving their community. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Participate in required law enforcement training academy programs and field training. - Assist certified personnel in maintaining law and order, community patrol, and facility operations. - Learn and execute procedures relating to crime prevention, public assistance, and emergency response. - Document incidents, prepare detailed reports, and adhere to departmental standards. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Entry-level / non-certified candidates eligible for academy sponsorship or training. - Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 21 years old. - Education: High School Diploma or GED. - Licensing: Must hold a valid Driver's License. - Background: No felony convictions. - Verification: Must be able to pass a background check and drug test. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Event Date & Hours: October 19, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. - Location: Clarksdale WIN Job Center, Clarksdale, Mississippi. • Compensation & Benefits - Departmental compensation and benefits provided per county schedule. • Application Instructions - Contact the Clarksdale WIN Job Center to submit an application and schedule your interview slot.
