• Role & Company / Project Overview The Job Factory is hiring for the position of Development Engineer – NPD (New Product Development) for a permanent, full-time role based in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (CSN), Maharashtra. The position is within the Wiring Harness industry with 3 open vacancies. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Develop new products, technologies, and optimize existing solutions. - Identify company goals to conceptualize, design, and test new products or series. - Define problems, conduct and narrow research, analyze criteria, and find/analyze solutions. - Work on product development, design validation, and engineering improvements. - Utilize CATIA and CAD/CAM software for design and development activities. - Drive cycle time reduction, productivity improvement, and troubleshooting. - Coordinate cross-functional teams (CFT) for NPD projects. - Manage technical documentation and support PPAP activities. - Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for component and source identification. - Plan project activities, detailed tasks, timelines, dependencies, and execution. - Handle engineering projects including new machine development, productivity improvement in existing machines, and troubleshooting. - Manage existing and new vendors/suppliers with good coordination skills. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Qualification: BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant qualification. - Experience: 3 to 5 Years of experience. - Mandatory wiring harness industry work experience. - Proficiency in CATIA and CAD/CAM software. - Basic knowledge of IATF 16949 / IATF 16949:2009, PPAP documentation, and 5S. - Knowledge of Poka-Yoke and Kaizen. - Understanding of BOP, raw materials, component identification, and source identification. - Experience in new machine development and productivity improvement. - Strong analytical, interpersonal, problem-solving, time management, communication, and coordination skills. - Team player, computer savvy, and adaptive to changes. - Working knowledge and experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Strong vendor management and project planning capabilities. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Job Type: Permanent – Full-Time - Location: Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (CSN), Maharashtra (Onsite) • Compensation & Benefits - Salary: As per industry standards - Job Benefits & Perks: NA • Application Instructions - Interested candidates can share their updated resumes via the provided recruiter contact details.
