Role & Company / Project Overview: HALBEX is building India's Secure Export Infrastructure for Global Food Trade (merchant-trader model, blind trade, escrow-controlled payments, managed logistics, destination-specific compliance across 41 approved buyer countries). We are hiring a Technical Lead / Senior Full-Stack Engineer in Chennai to serve as the technology backbone of the platform during its pre-launch stage. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Take complete ownership of the HALBEX platform architecture, development, and maintenance. • Develop and maintain the web application using Next.js, TypeScript, and Supabase (PostgreSQL). • Own and extend the multi-role B2B system and build/integrate platform modules across Admin, Buyer, Seller, and Logistics. • Implement and utilize AI-assisted development and automation tools (e.g., Cursor) to build smarter, faster, and scalable systems. • Ensure application security, high performance, and production readiness. • Build, mentor, and lead the engineering and technology team as a key contributor to company growth. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering and full-stack development experience. • Strong full-stack development skills with deep expertise in Next.js, TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Supabase (PostgreSQL). • Hands-on experience with AWS deployment and cloud infrastructure. • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining scalable web applications. • Proven ability to take technical ownership with a strong security and performance mindset. • High interest in working in an early-stage, fast-growing startup environment.
