Role & Company / Project Overview PN Consultant is hiring experienced Java Developers for an exciting opportunity with a leading organization in Chennai. The role requires building scalable backend solutions in a full-time work-from-office environment. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java applications. • Build and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud. • Develop and integrate REST APIs and microservices. • Work with databases such as MS SQL and Oracle. • Implement event-driven solutions using Kafka. • Work with caching and search technologies such as Redis and OpenSearch. • Monitor application performance using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and OpenTelemetry. • Participate in application development, debugging, optimization, and production support. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • 3 to 5 years of relevant Java development experience. • Strong knowledge of Java 21 / OpenJDK and Spring Boot. • Hands-on technical experience with Spring Cloud Gateway, Spring Data JPA, and Spring MVC. • Experience with Apache Kafka, MS SQL, and Oracle. • Hands-on knowledge of OpenSearch, Redis, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, OpenTelemetry, MinIO, SMTP, and Git. • Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Good understanding of microservices architecture. • Experience with APIs, databases, and backend development. • Good problem-solving and analytical skills. • Strong communication and team collaboration skills. • Eligibility: Only Chennai-based candidates are eligible (candidates from other locations are not eligible). Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Location: Manapakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. • Work Mode: Work From Office (WFO). • Open Positions: 2. • Joining: Immediate joiners preferred. • Interview Process: First Round – Virtual Interview; Final Round – Direct Walk-in / Face-to-Face.
