Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview We are hiring an experienced QA Engineer to support a greenfield, cloud-native Card Management Platform. The role entails manual testing and API automation testing with specialized expertise in card management, payment systems, reconciliation, and API automation. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Perform comprehensive manual testing and API automation testing - Conduct end-to-end card payment testing covering authorization, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation - Handle defect management across SDLC and STLC within an Agile/Scrum environment - Execute database validations using SQL/MySQL - Validate and test REST APIs and microservices hosted on AWS cloud environments - Be comfortable demonstrating hands-on manual and API automation testing skills during the technical interview • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Experience: 6 to 8 years of relevant QA experience - Core Skills: Manual testing and API automation - API Tools: Postman/Newman or REST Assured - Domain Expertise: Card payment testing (authorization, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation) - Payment Systems & Protocols: In-depth knowledge of Visa, GPN (Alto/AJ), chargebacks, and disputes - Database Skills: SQL/MySQL database validation - Cloud & Architecture: AWS exposure and microservices testing - Methodologies & Tools: SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, Jira, REST APIs, and defect management - Good to Have: Pismo or other Card Management Systems, ISO 8583 or payment switch testing, JMeter, K6, LoadRunner, CI/CD pipelines, or performance testing experience • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India - Work Mode: Onsite / Office-based • Application Instructions - Interested candidates can share their updated resume via email - QA WhatsApp group available for exploring further QA opportunities
