Role & Company / Project Overview: TekWissen is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA MM Functional Consultant to join a leading product-based company in the automotive domain based in Chennai. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Manage end-to-end Material Management (MM) business flows and functional configuration. • Handle procurement operations including Requisitioning to Ordering, Purchase Orders, Scheduling Agreements, Directed Tier 2, Subcontracting, and Intercompany Procurement. • Perform root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. • Support full lifecycle implementation, steady-state, and post-go-live support. • Collaborate with and lead cross-functional global teams. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 4 to 10 years of overall experience. • 2 to 5 years of overall IT experience. • 2 to 3 years of hands-on functional experience in SAP MM. • Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA – MM (Material Management). • Extensive knowledge of procurement processes (Requisitioning to Ordering, Purchase Orders, Scheduling Agreements, Directed Tier 2, Subcontracting, Intercompany Procurement). • Hands-on experience in at least one full lifecycle S/4HANA and Fiori implementation. • Proven ability in root-cause analysis and troubleshooting. • Ability to work with and lead collaborative global teams during steady-state and post-go-live phases. • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • Experience in the Automotive / Manufacturing industry is preferred.
