• Role & Company / Project Overview Volto Consulting is hiring an experienced FIS Systematics Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Banking & Financial Services (BFSI) based in Chennai. The role focuses on powering modern banking operations through core banking systems, COBOL-based processing, and data integration. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Provide subject matter expertise in FIS Systematics and core banking applications. - Analyze and understand COBOL-based processing logic, batch processing, and existing banking workflows. - Support core banking modules related to Savings, General Ledger (GL), Mortgage, Lending, Certificates of Deposit (CD), and Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA). - Assist with regulatory reporting and compliance requirements related to HMDA and AML. - Work with Informatica for data integration, transformation, and data processing activities. - Identify and resolve banking system and data-related issues. - Support data quality checks, data validation processes, data integrity, and reconciliation activities. - Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure accurate banking operations and data processing. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Experience: Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in banking technology / BFSI domain. - Mandatory Primary Skills: Strong knowledge of FIS banking systems and hands-on experience with FIS Systematics. - Strong banking domain knowledge across Savings, General Ledger, Mortgage, Lending, CD, and IRA modules. - Solid understanding of banking regulations including HMDA and AML. - Understanding of COBOL-based processing logic and batch processing. - Experience with Informatica and data processing workflows. - Strong understanding of core banking operations and business processes. - Secondary Skills (Good to Have): Experience with next-generation banking platforms such as Mambu, Temenos, or Thought Machine; experience with data quality frameworks, data validation processes, banking data integrity, reconciliation, and quality controls. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Working Hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM - Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu (Onsite) • Compensation & Benefits - Growth opportunities within banking domain and core banking systems. • Application Instructions - Interested candidates can share their updated resumes mentioning 'FIS Systematics SME' in the email subject line.
