### Role & Company / Project Overview We are looking for an experienced Fabrication Engineer to oversee daily fabrication operations, manage shop-floor teams, and ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. ### Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Oversee day-to-day fabrication operations and activities. - Manage and guide shop-floor teams to drive productivity. - Handle production planning to ensure established production targets are consistently met. - Maintain high standards of quality, safety practices, and 5S compliance across the shop floor. - Apply problem-solving methods and support Lean/Kaizen implementation on the floor. ### Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Qualification: Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering. - Experience: 10+ years of relevant industry experience. - Strong working knowledge of fabrication processes, welding techniques, and engineering drawings. - Proven track record in shop-floor management and production planning. - Solid understanding of quality standards, safety practices, and 5S principles. - Excellent team leadership and problem-solving capabilities. - Lean / Kaizen experience is preferred. - Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP/SAP is considered an added advantage. - Language Skills: Proficiency in Tamil and English. ### Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India (Onsite). - Shift Details: Candidates must have willingness to work in shifts as required. ### Application Instructions Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to submit their updated CV through the provided contact email address.
