• Role & Company / Project Overview Vipany Global is looking for a macOS Software Packaging Engineer in Chennai to manage enterprise application packaging, configuration, and automated distribution across Apple devices. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Package applications using PKG, DMG, and APP formats for enterprise deployment. - Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell Scripting and Bash. - Manage macOS fleet administration and policy enforcement using Jamf Pro and Apple Business Manager (ABM). - Handle application deployment, distribution, installation, and post-install configuration. - Perform application testing, troubleshooting, macOS security and permissions management, configuration profiles, and Homebrew integration. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 5+ years of experience in macOS software packaging and endpoint engineering. - Proficient in PKG, DMG, and APP packaging mechanisms. - Strong expertise in Shell Scripting and Bash automation. - Hands-on administration experience with Jamf Pro and Apple Business Manager (ABM). - In-depth knowledge of macOS operating system administration, security frameworks, and configuration profiles. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India (Pan India hiring context) - Work Arrangement: Full-time standard operational hours • Application Instructions - Eligible candidates can share their updated CV to apply.
